Senior Consultant Next Generation Compliance – Sustainability

Do you want the opportunity to support Dutch banks with the realization of their pivotal role in the transformation towards a low carbon economy? As a senior consultant in our Data, Finance, Risk & Compliance (DFRC) Capability Group, you’ll be leveraging your knowledge and experience to help our clients invent what’s next in their way of doing business.

Your challenge as a Senior Consultant in Next Generation Compliance

As a Senior Consultant, you get the opportunity to develop your consulting and commercial skills by delivering projects and by building warm and stable relationships with our clients. You could be advising on the implementation of state-of-the-art portfolio screening and delivering carbon footprint insights. Or perform an as-is-analysis of our client’s regulatory adherence and draft a compliance roadmap for regulatory remediation in accordance with, for instance, the EU taxonomy and disclosure standards.

Our team supports compliance in times of strategic goal setting, supervisory guidance or internal compliance findings. As a result, we help our clients all the way from vision and strategy to the implementation of changes and innovations in their functions, organizations, processes and data-landscape. Apart from project delivery, you’ll explore business development and shape new propositions together with your internal colleagues.

What you will be doing:

▪ You advise leading multinationals on how to build efficient and compliant functions and structures.

▪ You keep abreast of the latest data and technology driven trends and developments in the financial services.

▪ You actively participate in commercial processes by leading sales opportunities.

▪ You lead project streams in multidisciplinary project delivery teams.

▪ You’re responsible for timely stream delivery in order to exceed client expectations.

▪ You act as change leader for sustainable innovations and transformations.

▪ You contribute to the development of partnerships that can be beneficial for our business and clients in the financial services sector.

What do you bring?

You demonstrate proficiency in both consulting and communication skills and take the initiative to go for the extra mile in order to deliver the best possible result for our clients and your colleagues. Problem solving under time constraints as well as the invention of creative solutions and insights are qualities you recognize. The ability to absorb information on digital developments in short amounts of time and to apply it effectively is another distinct property you bring. You’re collaborative in style, empathic in nature, confident in content and focused on outcomes at all levels in the client organization. In addition, you’re flexible when it comes to the location of our varied (international) assignments. The minimum requirements in order for you to be eligible for this role are as follows:

▪ A University Master’s degree, preferably in a field such as Law, Finance and Accounting, Business Economics or Business Administration with a demonstratable interest in Sustainability.

▪ You have 2-3 years of work experience in a consulting firm or leading financial institution.

▪ You’re experienced with change and data related processes, preferably in the financial service sector or have experience with regulatory topics related to banks or insurance companies.

▪ Fluent in English, both written and spoken. Proficiency in Dutch is considered a real advantage, proficiency in French or German is a plus.

You are already located in the Netherlands and fit the visa requirements to assure you are eligible to work in the Netherlands.
