Senior Consultant Innovative Data Management

Do you want to set the bar for a new data quality standard engaging with multiple stakeholders? Or are you interested in coordinating the creation of a data lake, and monitoring the availability of data for regulatory reporting to the ECB? And do you enjoy building, shaping and implementing new innovations and data models within the world of finance? To date, the financial services sector has been the frontrunner of numerous digital innovations, but they continuously need to keep innovating in order to stay competitive. As a senior consultant in our Data, Finance, Risk & Compliance (DFRC) Capability Group, you’ll be leveraging your knowledge and experience to help our clients invent what’s next in their ways of doing business.

Your challenge as Senior Consultant in Innovative Data Management

As a Senior Consultant, you get the opportunity to develop your consulting and commercial skills by delivering projects and building strong relationships with clients. You play an active role in local and international multidisciplinary engagements that focus on data, modelling, governance, quality and data management – topics that are often triggered by regulatory changes and/or the need to optimize or innovate these functions with the help of new data structures. We help our clients all the way from vision and strategy to the implementation of changes and innovations in their functions, organizations, processes and data-landscape. Apart from project delivery, you’ll explore business development and shape new propositions together with your colleagues.

What you will be doing:

  • You advise leading multinationals on how to build efficient and compliant data models, governance structures and function.
  • You keep abreast of the latest data and technology driven trends and developments in the financial services.
  • You actively participate in commercial processes and contribute to the development of sales opportunities.
  • You lead project streams in multidisciplinary project delivery teams.
  • You’re responsible for timely delivery of your project stream in order to exceed client expectations.
  • You act as change leader for sustainable innovations and transformations.
  • You contribute to building partnerships that can be beneficial for our business and clients in the financial sector

What do you bring?

You have strong communication and consulting skills and take initiative when you go for the extra mile to deliver the best possible result for our clients and your colleagues. Problem analysis under time constraints as well as the invention of creative solutions and insights are your strong suits. Another strength is your ability to absorb information on digital developments quickly and to apply it effectively. You’re collaborative in style, empathic in nature, confident in content and focused on outcomes at all levels in the client organization. In addition, you’re flexible when it comes to the location of our varied (international) assignments. Other things that you bring are:

  • A University Master’s degree, preferably in a field such as Business Economics or Business Administration with a quantitative focus.
  • You have approx. 3 years of work experience in a consulting firm or leading financial institution.
  • Experience with dashboards, data models, data governance, meta data, and innovations within this field.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken. Proficiency in Dutch is considered a real advantage, proficiency in French or German is a plus.
  • You are already located in the Netherlands and fit the visa requirements to assure you are eligible to work in the Netherlands.
