Managing Consultant Customer Engagement

As a managing consultant in the Customer Engagement team, you help leading companies transform to become a client centric organization. 

Your challenge as a Managing Consultant Customer Engagement

How can companies maintain a strong connection with their clients, in a faster and more digital world? How does a company ensure customer loyalty, when disruptive tech companies can change the marketplace in the coming years? How do you work client-centric and how do you adapt your product or service accordingly? These are the type of questions Capgemini Invent Customer Engagement team finds answers to. As a managing consultant, you could inspire organizations as how they can optimize the customer experience with help of new technologies such as artificial intelligence, virtual reality and voice assistants. Together with a team, you might analyze and benchmark marketing strategies and CRM platforms, or build innovative business models and service concepts. As a Managing Consultant Customer Engagement, you:
  • leverage your digital consulting expertise to shape and deliver digital transformation programs that support the execution of the client agenda. Articulate a point of view and advise clients on what potential solutions may be, and how to structure a program of work to effectively deliver on it.

  • develop relationships with senior members of Tier 1 and 2 organizations beyond digital program delivery. Maintaining a meaningful relationship and communication, sharing and positioning Capgemini’s evolving portfolio of services and identifying opportunities within the client organization.

  • lead and manage part of the Customer Engagement capability team within Capgemini Invent; providing guidance and leadership, enabling the team to effectively and efficiently perform. Accomplishing client demands whilst also developing their own skills / competencies to progress and grow professionally.

  • utilize a combination of the organisation’s broader pre-existing relationships and your own network to open, lead and close large digital transformation deals generating revenue across the sector.

  • use your own deep expertise of CPR, Manufacturing and or Financial Services, drive differentiation and thought leadership in one or more areas, contributing to the development / evolution of propositions and point of views.

What do you bring?

You take initiative and do the extra mile to deliver the best possible result for the client and your colleagues. Under time constraints, you analyze (process) data and come up with new insights and solutions for complex problems. You absorb new information quickly and applying this effectively on a personal and content level is not a problem for you. Together with the client and a multidisciplinary team, you take on the challenge to realize sustainable results. You are collaborative in style, empathic innature, confident in content and focused on outcomes at all levels in the client organization. Pro-actively bringing new ideas to the table and taking ownership in the execution come natural to you. Lastly, you have strong stakeholder management and communication skills and are comfortable with presenting for managers in an enthusiastic and convincing manner.

  • A Masters’ degree in Business Innovation Management, Data Science, Marketing Intelligence, International Business, or a Master with a technical/design focus.

  • A consulting background, having built solid foundations in consulting skills and having already delivered larger digital projects and transformation programs.

  • At least 6 years working experience as a consultant or from the industry

  • Fully flexible in terms of assignment location, international experience is a plus.

  • Proven experience of opening, leading and closing large digital transformation deals.

  • Demonstrates a can-do attitude, proactive thinking / doing, being able to navigate complex networks of relationships internally and externally.

  • Sharp intellect and strong problem-solving skills to address complexity thrown by client challenges; as well as analytical rigor and proven ability to synthesize data and formulate conclusions / recommendations.

  • Ability to empathize with clients in politically challenging environments and to work to demanding timeframes / deadlines.

  • Intellectually capable of developing and holding peer level relationships at all levels of a client’s company.

  • Demonstrates the potential to be a leader in our business and able to work fully collaboratively across international teams.
