Internal Communications Manager

In today’s challenging business environment and decentralized working model, Capgemini Nederland seeks to strengthen its Internal Communications function. As the Internal Communications manager you will be responsible for internal information and engagement, leadership communications and community management. You will be part of an experienced and dedicated team of communications and marketing professionals, on the ground in the Netherlands as well as in India. You report into the Marketing & Communications Director Capgemini Nederland.

Responsibilities

• Establish an internal communications strategy and plan in conjunction with management, with a focus on the NL HR Director and CSR officer

• Develop and manage an optimal channel mix to reach internal communications objectives; across newsletters, emails, intranet messages, social media and digital or printed materials

• Produce compelling storylines that build Capgemini’s personality and profile, with a journalistic ability to source stories from our business and employees

• Plan, develop, direct edit and write content for a variety of internal communications mediums (written, social, video, etc.)

• Advice on and produce messages and campaigns with and on behalf of leadership

• Align with Group Internal Communications and its strategy and messaging and ensure internal communications is consistent across mediums and organization

• Ensure alignment and synergy with external communication messages and use social media to communicate with staff internally

• Handle the internal communication response to crisis situations which affect organizational perception, reputation and engagement

Requirements

• Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills and collaborative attitude

• Ability to thrive in a cross-functional, geographically dispersed team. Achieving results without formal authority. Ability to work with stakeholders both at local and global levels

• Capability and confidence to influence key executive stakeholders and act as a trusted partner and advisor

• Self-starting, entrepreneurial mindset and can-do attitude. Results oriented. Passion for content and ‘hands-on-keyboard’- groundwork

• Project management capabilities in complex organizations

• Minimum 3-5 years working experience in a similar role and/or environment

• Fluency in Dutch and English with strong writing, proofreading and editing skills in both languages
