Group EMS consultant

In this position you support the Health, Safety and Environment team of the Capgemini Group. Your role consists of implementing and managing the Group Environmental, Energy and Health & Safety (EHS) Management System within Capgemini. You are responsible for monitoring the quality and compliance of one or more countries and for checking and maintaining all documentation in accordance with ISO 14001, ISO 50001 and ISO 45001 guidelines.

Your challenge as EHS Consultant

You ensure that all stakeholders within the Capgemini Group perform their activities in accordance with processes stemming from the Group EHS management system. You research relevant legislation and translate this into understandable language and actions, and accordingly train all stakeholders in what they need to know, what they need to do and why they need to do it. You are responsible for the quality and completeness of all documentation, and regularly conduct internal audits in the various countries. You work in a small team that is spread around the world and with stakeholders in 28 countries who support and advise on EHS compliance and performance issues.

What do you bring?

You're a confident and enthusiastic personality who easily engages into relationships at different levels in the organization. Therefore, you demonstrate proficiency in communication skills and dare to take the initiative. You're empathetic, creative and flexible, and have an independent and result-oriented working attitude. What else do you bring?

  • A completed higher professional / university education, preferably in a subject related to Environment, Compliance, or Health and Safety.
  • You have demonstrable affinity with (relevant) ISO standards.
  • You have an excellent command of the English language, both in word and in writing, and proficiency in another language such as French, Spanish, Portuguese, Chinese or German is an advantage.
  • You are already located in the Netherlands.
